For the last 16 years we have been managing the telecommunications and IT needs of hundreds of clients nationally (probably thousands over the journey if I were to count)
Over the last couple of years when approached, we have branched out to coordinating the build of Fixed Wireless networks for high speed internet as an alternative to NBN satellite and even NBN Fixed Wireless.
Since the NBN began its rollout across the country and subsequent government intervention (for better or worse) has affected the rollout, it has become apparent that to truly advance the entire country (or as much as possible) into the digital age, private enterprise is sorely missed. Political outcomes seem to be at the forefront of almost every direction and result in never ending frustration with the NBN rollout. Government agencies are sometimes compromised in their outcomes as they can be influence by politics rather than actual outcomes that address need.
We work with Governments, counsels, Chambers of Commerce and other interested parties to work for outcomes. The lack of understanding and absence of explanation, especially with what technology is being rolled out; fibre to the premises (FTTP), to the node (FTTN), coaxial HFC, NBN’s version of fixed wireless and NBN satellite along with a healthy dose of tech jargon hace all contributed to a mass of confusion, ambivalence and apathy in the telecommunications & IT sectors.
The projects we have spearheaded thus far are producing and continuing to deliver brilliant results for rural consumers in terms of coverage, costs savings and the big one. reliability. The benefit to the economy is beyond local agribusiness and is of national importance. Too many have been left behind from the dilution of the NBN and now the gaps need to be addressed.
This is where our advices comes in. We translate ‘tech speak’ to ‘human speak’ and vice versa. By enabling language is considered to the person HEARING the message goes a long way to making sure there is understanding. With understanding, educated decisions follow.
